First day Lecture~

9^th September 2014

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Today is my first lecture in Microbiology 1 (BMY 3101) and I was extremely excited to know what was the subject about because of the course that I got is Bachelor Science Microbiology. My first impression towards my lecturer as I look at her face is `Dr Wan is “garang”!’  haha but….. as she open up her mouth, she just like can’t stop talking and she’s not ‘garang’ at all. She ask : ‘Who have heard about my class from your senior?’ and ‘Megat answered : they said that Dr. Wan baik and selalu bawak makanan.’ And I was like “MAKANAN?? (*.*) ’’ HAHA ! 

As the class started, she told us to use padlet.com . I actually don’t know what is the ‘padlet.com’ about before entered this class. The first question is “WHAT IS MICROBIOLOGY? ‘’ and I answered the question as “Microbiology is the study about microscopic organisms that we can’t see through our naked eyes.” HEHE I don’t know actually.

Then, Dr Wan ask : “What is the largest bacteria in the world?’’ and Kak Sara Joe answered : ‘Thiomargarita namibiensis’ and I was like ‘’what is that?? (o.0)’’

As the clock is near to 12 p.m , Dr Wan gave us a gift! Guess what? It was an ASSIGNMENT! HAHA and I just relax because that’s normal right? What was the assignment about was surprising me badly! (OMG OMG OMG!) Dr Wan want us to make a short video about ourselves and our expectation towards this course. Ermmm OKAY… Not just a video okay, we have to upload the video in YOUTUBE!! Ohhh okkaayy again and again

 HAHA the task is simple but it was difficult to a ‘’shy shy cat’’ girl like me! (ahaks, shy lah sangat XD) actually I’m not the one who was very confident to talk in front of public (I mean, many people) BUT as I stepped into this class I learnt that I have to do this and that!( Dr Wan’s assignment)  Because this is the one of the way to make me feel confident in front class. 

Other than that, another one assignment is to have a journal about our class(Microbiology 1)  and submit it by the end of semester. Easy right? But it must be in form of blog or else, HUH! OKAY!

 I hope that Dr Wan will give us “assignment pelik-pelik’’ again. HAHA I’m just kidding (Please don’t give us that ‘’pelik-pelik’’ one) If you wanna do so, I just have to “redha je lah” HIHI.
